THE VANYUKOV FURNACE
Autogenous melting furnace for processing copper, copper-nickel and copper-zinc concentrates. Melting takes place in a slag-matte furnace bath, where an oxygen-air mixture is intensively supplied. The furnace is one of the variants of the melting unit in a liquid bubbling bath; its analogue in ferrous metallurgy is the Romelt furnace.
